As I wanted to move North American trailers that were designed to have a 2" ball that is 16" off the ground, I needed to upgrade my rear bumper to one that incorporated a 2" receiver. While I was at it, I installed a 8000 lb winch so I could haul vehicles on to a car trailer and also get myself unstuck. One of the problems with the LT is that a standard length winch remove is too short to go from the driver seat to the rear of the truck, so I installed the controller under the rear bed.
